Charles Odira from MIXA Food and Beverages, Kisumu, Kenya will be present at this East African Community Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Trade Fair (formally known as the EAC Jua Kali Nguvu Kazi Exhibition) in Bujumbura, Burundi from 7-17 December 2023 and will exhibit cricket powder and cricket bread. MIXA is partner from Flying Food since 2015 and scaling up his cricket business internationally.
The 23rd trade fair opens its doors on December 7th, 2023 attracting more than 1,500 exhibitors from Burundi, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, Rwanda, South Sudan, Uganda, and Tanzania who showcased and displayed a wide range of products made in East Africa such as jewelry, clothing, agricultural produce, etc. This exhibition is held annually on a rotational basis among the partner states so as to enhance the socio-economic integration of the people of East Africa, opening up new market frontiers for their products while bridging up the knowledge and technological gaps between them in the framework of widening and deepening co-operation among partner states in various key spheres.
