In the past months, intensive contact with Zahid Wissanji has led to the start-up of a large-scale rearing facility in Uganda. EntoAfrica aims at providing healthy food in a country where hidden hunger is a prime concern. Together with the Flying Food Project, the company has decided to move cricket rearing in the region forward with 6000 crates, the equivalent of 200 small-scale farms, making it the continent’s largest cricket-rearing facility.
